The meanings of "remaking life": an analysis based on the narratives of migrant women in Tijuana

CSEM participated in the XIII Mercosur Anthropology Meeting that took place from July 22 to 25, 2019, in Porto Alegre (RS), presenting the paper The meanings of "remaking life": an analysis based on the narratives of migrant women in Tijuanafrom the research "Reconstruyendo la vida en la frontera: asistencia y atención a migrantes en la Frontera Norte de México". 

The paper seeks to reflect on the meaning of "remaking life" from the perspective of migrant women assisted at the Instituto Madre Assunta (IMA), a shelter run by the Scalabrinian Sisters (MSCS) located in Tijuana, on Mexico's northern border with the United States.
